Our commitment

Wall Bed Place, operated by AZ INVEST LLC, is committed to making www.wallbedplace.com accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We want every customer to be able to browse our wall beds, bunk beds, and storage furniture, book a free design consultation, and place an order with ease.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort for us. We are actively working to improve the site, and we welcome feedback that helps us do better.


The standard we're working toward

Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), explain how to make web content more usable for people with a wide range of disabilities.

www.wallbedplace.com is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This means some parts of the site do not yet fully meet the standard. We are working through these areas and making improvements on a rolling basis.


What we're doing

We are taking the following steps to improve accessibility:

  • Reviewing our site against WCAG 2.1 Level AA and prioritizing the pages customers use most: collection and product pages, the cart, checkout, and the design consultation request
  • Adding descriptive alternative text to product images and customer photos
  • Improving keyboard navigation so menus, product options, and checkout can be used without a mouse
  • Checking color contrast and text sizing for readability
  • Making forms clearer, with properly labeled fields and helpful error messages
  • Considering accessibility when we add new products, collections, and features
  • Testing the site periodically with automated tools and manual checks


Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Areas we are still improving include:

  • Some product images and customer photos that are missing or have incomplete alternative text
  • Product options for building a custom set, such as size, finish, and matching cabinets or sofas, that may be difficult to use with a screen reader
  • 3D interior visualizations shared during design consultations, which are visual by nature (we can describe layouts and measurements in writing on request)
  • Some videos that do not yet have captions
  • Some PDF documents, such as assembly guides and spec sheets, that may not be fully accessible
  • Some features provided by third parties, which we do not fully control
